Preschool-K and
Afterschool Programs

We are excited to announce the opening of the Community Nature Center at Fern Gully Forest where we are expanding our forest school programs for kids to get outside and play, learn, create, cultivate a culture of kindness and develop a love of nature!

Our Waldorf and Montessori-inspired early-learning program for children ages 3 to 7 is from 9am - 1pm Monday through Fridays. We also offer homeschooling enrichment programs, and an afterschool recreational program for school aged children. We prioritize enrollment for low-income students. We are in the neighborhood of the Olympic Regional Learning Academy (ORLA) on Boulevard and 15th Ave SE.

Summer Camps

9am - 5pm join us for outdoor adventures at Fern Gully Forest School where your child can play and make new friends, learn about the plants, animals and natural history of the PNW, and develop a lifelong connection with nature!

We have small class sizes with a 6:1 ratio. We create a nurturing environment where children can develop the resilience, creativity, confidence, social skills and emotional intelligence needed to thrive in school and life.

Children get to enjoy the school garden and mini-farm with small cuddly animals, and the forest to explore!

We learn through imaginative play, science experiments, creative projects, nature observations, yoga and mindfulness practices, expressive art, singing, dancing, making music, team building games and more!
