Fern Gully Forest Afterschool

Join us in the forest where kids can run freely, breathe deeply, and soak in the beauty and quiet medicine of the natural world. After a long school day, the woods offer space to unwind, rebalance, and reconnect. Time outside has been shown to reduce stress, improve focus, boost mood, fuel creativity, and strengthen social skills—all while giving kids the chance to play, explore, and grow in the ways that childhood is meant to unfold.

Our Afterschool Program at Fern Gully Forest provides a magical woodland playground just for them. A hidden gem only one block from the Olympia Regional Learning Academy (ORLA) at Boulevard and 15th Ave SE. With parent arrangements, we can  pick-up and walk with students from ORLA to the forest.

We help children build important life skills that make a lasting difference: mindfulness and self-awareness, emotional regulation, teamwork, problem-solving, resilience, creativity, and confidence. Through campfire stories, wildcrafting, team games, seasonal crafts, and quiet moments beneath towering cedar trees.
