Fern Gully Forest School
Join us for outdoor learning adventures at Fern Gully Forest where your child can play and make lifelong friends while learning academics and place-based science; integrated with social-emotional skills, wilderness awareness, and natural magic! We help kids develop important life skills and positive connections with one another, their inner worlds, and the medicine in nature that will help them excel in school and life.
We are expanding our nature-based outdoor learning programs for more kids to learn through play, inquiry, observation, experimentation and creativity, while cultivating a culture of kindness and developing a love for nature!

Our Waldorf and Montessori-inspired early-learning programs for ages 3 to 6 Monday - Fridays are expanding to more ages and hours with afterschool care and COMING SOON homeschool enrichment programs!

We are in the neighborhood of the Olympic Regional Learning Academy (ORLA) off Boulevard Ave SE, Olympia.

We have small groups with a 6:1 child to teacher ratio and a mixed ages approach that fosters compassion, understanding, and leadership skills. We create a nurturing environment where children can develop the resilience, creativity, confidence, social skills and emotional intelligence needed to thrive. The kids enjoy eating out of the school garden, cuddling with small animals, story-time and exploring the forest!

We learn through imaginative play, science experiments, creative projects, nature observations, yoga and mindfulness practices, expressive art, singing, dancing, making music, team building games and more!
